the only thing that I can think of mentioning that has happened lately is the roving band of gypsies.. umm mechanics that came to school yesterday to service the cars of the teachers. So far we’ve had a variety of salespeople / shopowners bring their merchandise here for the benefit of the teachers. […]

It’s been business as usual really, with nothing of intereset taking place. I got pretty badly sunburned on my upper arms on the day trip.. (after all these years, you’d think I’d know better)….

ok… today, (after teaching the first two classes), the ichi’s group of teachers (which includes me) and the ichi’s are going on a day trip….. we will walk for a looong way apparently, and then we will spend time with some of the elderly, and then we will pick up rubbish… joy..
